If Natla can adapt to life with discretion in the 21st century, then other powerful beings can too.

For all we know, Thiocan could just be posing as an ordinary human somewhere.

Also Quolopec looked like a statue. Is it really him on the throne or some kind of killer statue that comes to life?

Are you sure Qualopec is dead?

Hush! Don't forget that there is no such thing as magic in the LAU universe.

To me he looked more like a mummy than a statue. A statue wouldn't be so wrinkled.

About this matter I just can repost what I wrote about Natla's wings in TRA:

How can it be "advanced technology" if it doesn't have any rules whatsoever? Why does Natla have wings but Qualopec and Tihocan don't? And how is Natla able to heal herself, but Qualopec seems to be severely wounded and is bound to his mechanical chair? Aren't they supposed to be part of the same species? And if they're immortal, why does Qualopec looks like a mummy and Tihocan doesn't lie in his sarcophagus but also isn't around to stop Natla? Even the MacGuffin of Legend, Excalibur, follows different rules when the writers are out of ideas. In one moment, it's a weapon, then it activates a portal to the past(!?) and then it just activates a teleporter without any time travel or talking to other people necessary before activating the teleportation mode. And when the phrase "Okh Eshivar" is meant to control the thralls, which are created by Eitr, how is it possible that it also controls the Doppelgänger, who is created differently?

Was it ever established whether Natla was an Egyptian or Alantean goddess?
