52 stars collected now, 7 of them being castle secret stars. I know where another one of the secret stars is. I haven't found the green cap switch yet but I've found the others.

Grrrrr! That one secret star I know where it is, is just soooooo annoying. Its the one on the floor where levels 14 and 15 are. The one where you triple jump to the place in the room with the clock and go down the hole and it takes you to the secret place in the sky. You have to get the 8 red coins on the clouds to get the star. Often when I'm trying to land on a cloud, I'll slide off the end of it. Also the camera is a huge problem here. When going fast I cant see where I am or where I'm going. I try to move the camera to see but it doesn't work. Several times I fly too far away and it ends the level on its own and you see mario falling from the sky down to the bottom into the water. The most I've gotten is 7 and then I was flying too fast and couldn't see where I was and the thing I just described happened.

What's this problem people seem to be having with the camera?

I don't remember any issues - it was pretty static and intuitive if I remember correctly.

I have it for my DS, I've completed it. I've found all 150 stars and all caps. But I can't seem to be able to beat Bowser at the last stage o.O

For its time maybe. This being my first experience with the game, I know the camera is poor compared to todays games. The way the game is played you basicly need a good control of the camera and you basicly need full right analog stick control that games have nowadays. On the classic controller you use the right analog stick to control the camera but it just doesn't work properly at all. Often you cant see whats around you and in many situatutions you need to react quickly and the only way to do that is to actually see whats around you by moving the camera. Problem is it doesn't rotate all the way round. It rotates left or right only a tiny bit and sometimes you can only do that once in that direction depending on where you are. Zooming out by pulling the right analog stick down is efferctive sometimes, but it doesn't zoom out enough and it doesn't help when you need to really have a look around. Basicly the game plays like full right analog control should be there, but its not.

Games like TR didn't have camera control at all except pressing L1 to look around. The difference is that those games didn't need to and played with the camera being where you need it to be almost all the time. Mario 64s camera isn't where you want it anywhere near as much. Most of the time its fine but its more of a nuisance than any game I ever remember playing.

I just completed the game with the minimum 70 stars. 9 of them are castle secret stars. I'd say its the second best mario I've ever played. I think super mario world is better. Again that was a game I downloaded off the VC months ago. Thats game just plain rocks.
