NGLE+TREP provides correct widescreen resolution, which means Lara is not too close to screen, like in TRNG - "zoomed in big Lara effect". It is total gameplay killer for me.

I wish builders were paying attention to this in their TRNG levels and adjust camera with script, as it was in original TR's and TREP for example.

Back to basics are a few levels that I am able to play on full screen mode. Problem would not be that big if I could play 4:3 resolution on full screen at least, like I can in original TR's for example. But here it works only in windowed mode. Otherwise screen distortion is happening.

Maybe that's one of the reasons BtB is sticking with that combo. TRNG wouldn't be bad at all if it wasn't for the fact it forces widescreen in fullscreen on 4:3 resolutions like you said.

Can you post screenshot? I have always squished screen - effect opposite to "fat Lara".

It would be odd if it was one of reasons they use TREP, due to fact it's so easy to adjust camera in script. Of course, then if you will play in windowed 4:3 , camera will be too far away, but I bet most people play custom levels in fullscreen widescreen 16:9 nowadays.

In which case you're playing with squished image? Because that's what happens if you run TRNG with a 4:3 resolution in fullscreen.
