Default Problem with textures spikes on hands...

Hi
I've been here for weeks now, today I've spent so many HOURs trying to sort this out but NOTHING....
I ended up using a different grenade launcher...
And when I tried to fix the bow(because I wanted it in my level) I thought I had fixed it but still bugged

I replaced the hand of the original BTB outfit with the new outfit's hand carefully, and then remapped the hand vertices like I used to do:

I changed the numbers but I still have spikes and the hand 'cut out' of the arm.
Please help me, don't want to give up on this level set I was building because of this problem

Perhaps the hands have a certain number of vertices now which doesn't allow proper remapping.
Or the hole in the hand where it should connect to the joint is not the same/at the same spot as the original hand. Numbers can be off by one value (values in Meta), but not by more.
