I can't see pictures on this forum...
Is there a reason why I can't see some pictures on this forum? I can see people's avatars, and a *few* posted pictures, but the rest just don't show up. I have to get people to link me to them. Is there a way I can solve this? Thanks to anybody who can help.

Try emptying your Internet cache/temporary files, then close and re-launch your browser..
It might not resolve the issues but will help nonetheless, its worth a try anyway. My browser does that sometimes and it is really annoying.. |

I deleted my temp. files manually (the browser doesn't like it if I do it through "Internet Options" for some reason), but I still have the same problem. Thanks for the help, anyway.

Temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall.
Then try again? |

I did that too, but it didn't work. I wouldn't like to leave the firewall off, anyway. Thanks, though, Joseph.

Can you post a link to one of the pictures that appear as a red box? Or post a screenshot?

They don't even appear as a redbox, they just don't load at all. Sometimes I don't even realise there's *suppose* to be a picture there.
In this thread, Alive and Funky's post (second to last post on the page) is one example - I can see the first Postman Pat picture, but not the one which has "Muderous Assassin" on it (apparently). Also, right-clicking the area where the picture should appear (If I highlight the area, I can find the "box" it should be in) and pasting the link into a new browser window doesn't work either. @ Joseph: Yes, I'm using IE 6. |

I had the same problem, do you have MacAfee internet security?
If so, go to your privacy services, then configure privacy service options and click on the block ads tab and un-tick block ads on this computer. For some reason it will block some but not images and pictures as it believes they are ads. Hope this helps |
