That's not how things work. Just because some people started working on the next game does not mean Rise was finished by then. Usually, at the beginning of a project, you only have a very small team working on it. Concept artists, writers, a few leads/senior designers/artists/programmers, that sort of thing. So starting work on a new project would not have taken too many people away from Rise's development (and people like concept artists usually aren't needed during later stages of production, anyway, so they're free to work on other projects).

Why do you do that, always poo-poo other people's theories like that? Blackmoor wanted people's theories on announcement to release schedule and I put out there a possible one based off Rise (rightly or wrongly, but it was a guess/theory). You poo pooed that and when I elaborated my reasons, you pooped on that too claiming it's best to go with previous development timeframes. I pointed out that it seems work started quite early in 2015 to which FanosCroft elaborated on speculating Rise being near finished when work started on SotTR. Whether that's how it's done or not is actually irrelevant although he couldn't have been far off. He didn't say Rise was completely done gathering dust until release, but still required polish, which considering it released that November is probably correct assumption or close. But you still had to 'correct' his speculation. It's kinda infuriating, actually . It's a pattern. It comes across as stronger than mere disagreement.
