Exclamation Tomb Raider 3:Heart attacks a gogo!!

Am I the only one who gets scared when playing tr3?? I mean this game isn t "scary", it's not a horror game, but there are moments where the game scares you a lot!
For example: I'm playing tr3 on my ps1 (which is the darkest vesion) and suddenly a snake comes out from the floor, a music starts to play and a boulder falls in your head...

Give me your opinion!

Well... I think TR4 is "the scariest" (from this viewpoint). Sudden mummies appearance, and some of them cannot be killed.

This is sooooooooo relatable. I'm honestly still get scared with classic TRs
When you're walking like nothing and suddenly some spikes come out of the floor... FJLADSJFLAJK it's like a childhood trauma, I will never beat it

TR4 was my worst nightmare when I was young.
I remember playing the game alone and smashing the keyboard SO HARD when a enemie came from a corner matching with a scarejump music... aaaaaaa the truma :____)

Recently I was playing TR1 on my Vita with my headphones, and forgot how creepy this particular ambient music from the early levels was. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCsAIheGIfA

TRI Egypt with those jumping mummies was terrifying.

The ending of Area 51 creeped me out, I thought those aliens were gonna wake up

But I'm glad they didn't.

The ambient sound of High security compound is very unnerving to me, that constant heartbeat pulse sound seems very inappropriate for a prison setting.

Side note: I actually re-bought the Vita (after I sold it) just to play all of the Classic games and Legend and Anniversary wherever I go. The Vita is like my portable PS1 console, it's great

To this day I don't think I've completed the later Antarctica levels, only the first.

Same here, it's nice to have the all the classics, Legend & Anniversary all on the go

Atlantis (in TR1) still creeps me out, I only completed TR1 by level skipping to the final level bc of how scary the Atlantean mutants are.

In comparison TRA is a easier for me as they're not as scary-looking lmao.

I guess the alien look, blood red muscle texture, screeching, moaning, blowing up when they die, and being able to kill you in a couple hits helps.
