On-Live service
We all well know that GoL will be released in the XboxLive and PSN for the consoles, but the big question would be who is going to distribute the PC version.
Here's a link talking about OnLive for those of you who don't know what it is: http://www.videogamesblogger.com/category/pc It's basically like video games you control delivered to your HD TV or low-end computer via internet without having a console, as far as I understand. I'm well aware that Eidos/SEE isn't listed in the companies that agreed to have their games being used, but you never know, OnLive seems to be pretty revolutionary, and it might start a big new trend. If this happens then I wouldn't be surprised to see Eidos jump into the bandwagon. What are your thoughts, should GoL be offered On-Live? Or even TR9 when it's released? |

Someone suggested that Steam would be distributing the PC version because TRA/TRL/TRU was also distributed by Steam.
Though that OnLive thing sounds amazing! |

It will probably be Games for Windows Live. Certainly Square Enix is not going to use onlive, it will have no where near the coverage needed, will only be new so probably full of bugs and GOL is not a high definition game.

Little out of topic, sorry please:
So I don't understand it well to be honest. Must I "buy" the game via Xbox Live for money only (credit card payment) or can I also "buy" the game for (G) points which I achieved during play games? If yes, how? Last edited by Lukass; 13-03-10 at 13:20. |

A little factoid for you... the COO of this company is Mike McGarvey, he used to be the Chief Exec of Eidos around the time of Chronicles and AOD.

Hmm, then we might get a TR5/AOD feel in TR9 as a Classic Core Game so to speak.

Actually, OnLive is far from being revolutionary, and they still have to address many issues for it to work properly. I don't think Eidos will be using that.
