@ thewolf:
Like I said in the PM I sent you, you have to send your testers the link and password for the test forum.

I've moved Dutchy's previous post to that forum now.

I've send a PM with the link and the password as you said! Strange , he should have received it

I've send him now a second PM, just to make sure

What a surprise to have your project finished so soon it looks amazing. And it's seems to be quite an adventure! Those screenshots are very promising especially the one from the rig levels.

I would've liked to test your levels, but unfortunately I haven't got much time available lately

Thumbs up

Thank you Feder, it is okay. Luckily I have much more people this time who volunteered to test for me

I know you are also working now for quite a long time, to get your Templars Secret ready. Maybe I could test for you when the time has come

Actually, yes there is a way of removing the black fog of render distance, you just need to use Arsunt's patch in your game. You can see it in action in the screenshot i posted of the Pescara level, the one where the dock is, you'll see no fog/blackness.

You can have the draw distance even all the way in and render to the edge of the map/where the skybox is. With the included .reg file you can edit the fog and render distances any way you want!

Then if you ask: why don't i update Mystic Realm with this??? It's because it crashes spectacularly whenever you point the camera to the center of the level. I suppose there's just too much stuff going on for the poor old engine.

I tried Arsunts patch and yes it is working , but the whole fog can only be removed. It would be awesome, if the fog could work like in the original. Without fog it looks a bit out of place

Wink

You can edit the "ViewFogRecommended.reg" with notepad and change the fog begin and end values, then apply the .reg file and see the changes. The "ViewFogClassic.reg" has the original values, so you can put those values in the first file, although i don't know how good it will look, i haven't played around with that option yet.

Now the fog is working fine but I have a new problem. My objects : ammo, medpacks ..... are pitch black or even invisible If I change the light values for them they appear normal from the distance, once I'm close they are pitch black again If I move the camera while standing close they also change their light
