This. The problem with modern gaming is the dissociation between story and gameplay. They took the wrong route to cinematic experience. Instead of merging the story with the gameplay using interactivity and enchancing the player's experience with the help of cinematic techniques (camera angles, interactive set pieces), they are just making movies with QTEs in-between the scenes.
