Uncharted is a great franchise but it has some of the clunkiest combat ive ever played so that kid saying its perfection is a joke lol.

Uncharted has it's own issues. I haven't even watched the video because I can't be arsed right now, but it's far from perfect. Although I do like it for their characters, stories and content, I wish people would stop being blinded by pretty graphics and some flashy cutscenes.
The gameplay of these games is "run from A to B while we throw waves of mercenaries at you", with the occasional simple puzzle thrown in. They're really not that fun, nor are they revolutionary. While TReboot has it's own issues as well, I prefer the gameplay in those for the little bit more variation it gives us. Seriously if they could give us an Uncharted game with Reboot's gameplay, it would be immensely better even if it's not a super dramatic change. Last edited by Yeauxleaux; 09-05-18 at 19:30. |

If I ever get a PS system I'd love to play the Uncharted games just to see what all the fuss is about. They do look really impressive. And I love the saturated colors!

I watched a bit of this earlier and my thoughts on the debate can be summed up here. I enjoyed Uncharted, it’s direction was smooth and the characters were memorable, but the gameplay didn’t provide much variety or entertainment. For a shooter, the shooting felt quite bland and far too frequent, though UC4 was much better in that regard.
On the other hand, Lara’s options in travelling and combat are more varied, puzzles feel more frequent, the relics are more rewarding to find, the myths tend to be more interesting, etc. Even with the reboot’s faults, I find them more enjoyable as games. |

I mean have you seen their games?? It's probably TRF that made you hate them. I felt pissed off when people kept saying Uncharted was that and TR was that blablabla until I decided to buy all the games and I fell in love with them, the characters and the story.
