Tomb Raider Anniversary Shader Mod?
Hello,
I'd like to know if there's a shader mod for tomb raider anniversary out there like minecraft game shaders mod. I could only find texture mod and NB series but i think add lighting effect and water reflection like legend Next-Gen would be much greater and fun. I realy wwanted to play the xbox 360 version on pc! the graphics were incredibly good! anniversary is my favorite game of the Crystal Dynamics reboot series (legend, underworld), I couldnt find anything but do you know if someone is working in a mod like this?: |

TRA does not use shaders. I'm not sure if the engine supports it. TRL does.

TRA supports shaders just like Legend and are stored in the same data section in the exe (.shad). I was working on a mod similar to what you are asking for but never really got around to finishing it. Though it was for Legend, the binaries are about 85-90% the same (once TRA is unpacked anyway).
I'll see if I can dig it up on my computer though I am sure it's around here somewhere.. |

TRA use an enhanced 'Tomb Raider: Legend' game engine, and of course DirectX 9.0c shaders (Shader Model 2 and 3.0) Quote:

Video Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible 64 MB 3D Accelerated Card with Vertex & Pixel Shader 2.0 (NVIDIA GeForce 6 series + / ATI Radeon X series+). (The 'Next Generation' mode use shader model 3.0) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2FFynbjN6s See also http://www.tombraiderforums.com/show...55&postcount=1 Quote:

Yeah, ReShade is a nice option... TR:A is using shaders, just not too many. I remember playing with Geforce 4 MX440. That card didn't even support any shader models (It was basically a Directx7 card) and the game didn't look much worse.
