How long until you get sick of the Reboot games?
How many more games do you think is enough until they should change it up again?

Long enough for them to make 8 more games.
On the other hand... the Classics got me sick after the fourth one |

That's impossible to answer. It depends on a million factors.
If they copy-paste the games, I guess 1-2, but as long as they keep evolving it (which any sane developer would do), it can go on for a long time and still be as enjoyable. |

Well, if they add more moves, tools/equipment, weapons and change up the formula (like they did between TR2013 and ROTR), they evolve the gameplay.

Like. Within one game we have the expectation that we are going to witness the re-use of gameplay. Yet once it's a new game, we seem to accept this expectation that everything should change. To me, it implies an inability to chillax. IDK. How much can you change? It makes -0 sense to me. Surely there is a game you don't play? IDK. |

The expectation that the games should "evolve" (changed) constantly, to me, implied a restlessness with regards to our attention and ability to appreciate.
Changing implies adding more, or swapping out... this means including new things. The opposite of a female character could be a guy. The opposite of puzzles could be shooting. The vague expectation of change opens the flood gates for anything really. Yet there are so many diverse games out there that you and me both will not play, for our tastes does not stretch that far. What is so wrong with limiting the expectation? Is it really bland or boring to have the same moves? How do we get around in games? running. When will they swap running out for something else, something like flying? |

Given Lara is younger in the reboot, I think not more than 6 games would suffice since the Core series has the same amount of releases.
