I do not want fantasy like we had! There are tons of mysteries all around the world for Lara to solve and they has nothing to do with Gods and super artifacts!

Buddha statues = save points is a good theory! (but mine is better ) Checkpoints won't really work in this semi-open world game.

Wasn't there a mention of a 'fast travel' system?
Right, I won't be using fast travel. :/ The pop out tent is an option.

edit: What is checkpoints are that thing Lara has to get from the cave! We make our own save points with it.

Sounds like three different things. I bet they are all very similar though.

I actually didn't like the idea of the necklace having some magical importance.

You're right, I might not alway's look twice to what I write down. Sure their similar but magic doesn't make a Tomb Raider game, activating something, weird creatures and Cultures have no connections with magic. It could of course but I guess you can also see difference in Magic beams coming from a sword and traps being activated once you lay down a few stones in the right order for example.

I just don't agree that saying Tomb Raider and Magic is something that belongs together. Especially not when going on a more serious realistic approach.

Myth magic, myth magic.

Dragons and yetis. Thralls and Krakens.

Magic to us, reality to Lara.

I wish I could ever express myself in English like that! Exactly my thoughts!

The sword in the dais could be technology could it not? Doesn't mean it's not magic either.
