XNALara vs XPS --- Wrong Normals -- etc

If you check the shading of (for example) "Iris", then you can recognize: Something is wrong here: The "Sphere" looks as if the light comes from below. The "Hemisphere" looks as if the light comes from above. If you use an "Shader(s)" to "Display Normals", then you can recognize wy. The Normals a messed up: You should "Recalculate the Normals for the "Sphere(s)": To fix the "Hemisphere" parts ... look here ... you have to "split" the "border faces" ... To get double vertices, to produce hard (sharp) edges at the border edge. 3) -- Avoid bump maps with JPEG coding, like "hemisphere bump 1.jpg", because the JPG format is an lossy compression, and bump maps are not "texture images"! Bump maps a used for an mathematical formula ... to calculate the shading. An "irreversible compression" produce wrong values ... and the reult is a wrong shading. -- Be careful about he "blue channel", the value should be set for "flat normals". Lower/higher values as 127(.5) for the blue component will make the model appear more or less bumpy. -- Be aware of the "tagent base" (swizzle coordinates) for "Tangent-Space" Normal maps. A nice guide to check it is here .. and an nice guide to fix it is here. 4) The name for the root bone of an poseable model should be "root ground" 5) Add camera targets (camera pivot) ... Hello everyone ^^
I'm looking for the XNA models of Classic and Modern Sonic, Sonic as a werehog, Classic and Modern Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, Rouge, Blaze and the Chaos Emeralds. I would also love it if there was the super forms for Classic and Modern Sonic, Shadow and Silver ^^ I'm also curious to know if there's models of Sonic, Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow from Sonic Boom ^^ Yup, they're all characters of Sonic the Hedgehog's universe ^^ I tried to look for them, but either I didn't find them, or the links are dead :/ So, can someone help me find them, please ? ^^ The super forms and the werehog are the less imporant among what I'm looking for, but if it's possible, I'd like to get them too ^^' Last edited by Nokea; 31-07-17 at 15:38. |

Has or, could someone port the Guybrush and Elaine models from Tales of Monkey Island (it's a Telltale game if that helps any)? I'd try and do it myself but I have no clue how.
