It was a pretty routine exam, but my new doctor heard some faint crackling sounds coming from the bottom of both of my lungs, which indicates a slight fluid build-up. He didn't seem too concerned about it, but he ordered an EKG (which turned out fine) and made a referral to see a cardiologist just in case. The fluid might be as simple as bronchitis or some other sort of inflammation thing, or it could be the beginning stages of pulmonary edema.

In any case, I have really bad anxiety both by having to drive long distance to see a specialist, and also by not knowing if this is something simple or something that could kill me eventually. I knew with my condition that something like this was possible, but now that I am actually needing to deal with it, i'm just scared. All I can do right now is wait, and it's not easy to not think about it.

Holy crap. Really hoping it's nothing bad. Praying for you.

Oh dear. I'll be praying for you. I hope things will turn out fine.

Screaming.

Omg this girl is my best friend in my head hahaha

Can that woman just retire quietly though? Honey you wrote some imaginative children's books and it was cute for what it was, as a product of more rational sensible times when not every tiny thing was considered "oppressive". Just take your coins and stop grandstanding in an attempt to get a cookie from Buzzfeed.

I literally only ever hear anything about/from her on Twitter. And I never go on Twitter. And that tweet is from 2016. About retiring quietly: the universe is still active with the Fantastic Beasts films, the screenplays of which she writes, and has 4 more left in the series to do, plus she still writes books.

But that part about the Sorting Hat. That's tough. Sorting's been that way for several hundred years. I wish The Sorting Wig a new life of truth and happiness
