Default Sending Private Messages - not working

Hi,

So as per the title: I have received a private message on TRF, no problems there, but when submitting a reply, it seems the system doesn't register: I have tried directly replying to the PM when reading it, then I tried sending a new message from scratch. In either case, the end result is 0 Sent Messages.

Anyway I saved my reply locally until I get this solved, I happily requested to be friends with the one who sent the PM, and maybe once I have them in my list I can successfully send a PM, but clearly something's wrong so... any help?

EDIT: It seems the problem is solved, you have to tell the system to save sent messages, unfortunately I've bombarded my contact through multiple attempts it seems but hey it's all good, I understood! :P

It took me a while to discover this actually - I always thought that you had to manually tick the box for each message if you wanted it to be counted in your "Sent folder".

But what you can do to make this permanent is:

-Go to User CP at the top left.
-Under Settings & Options go to "Edit Options"
-Scroll down to "Messages & Notifications"
-Tick "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default"

This way it's automatic and you have a record of your message.
