What wrong information? I would like to know so i can improve!
EDIT: Oh i see. Of course the dying proccess is in the exe. What i meant was that the dying proccess code does not differ between exes. Also, I always thought that you had to decompile the levels to remove the object. However you could change the coordinates and ID. Btw, i think your response was quite rude and you should have responded in a nicer way. I was only trying to help, you do not need to be like this. Last edited by Zavi; 29-01-15 at 13:33. |

It is ok. I was just trying to be helpful based on knowledge from other threads such as the no healcrystal patch thread. Also, there isn't really any data on the disc is there? It is all stored on the pc and the exe just checks for the CD right?

Not really. It depends on how you install it. If you use the original installer, all the data is loaded from CD. If you use tomb raider with a NoCD patch, you need to copy the data from the cd to the directory the exe is in. This confusion may come from some confusing terminology that is oftenly used. When I said I removed the cd check, I actually replaced only the part that said the level files are on the CD with a part that says they're in the current directory. |
