He was born in April, 1564, according to Wikipedia.

Yeah I know. But I was wondering what century he lived in, like the 16th, 15th, or 17 century or whatever.

You might also want to note that Shakespeare wrote in Elizabethan English, not Middle English - Middle English is closer to German and is the language Chaucer wrote in.
