Playtest actual edited level
Hi guys, first of all, the editor is awesome thing, thanks a lot!
Now, I made a few levels, one of them is the "title" level for main menu and that one is now finished. How do I force the editor to playtest second map (first in-game level), third map (second in-game level) and so on. Because everytime I click "Build level and play" or "Build level and play in preview", game runs the "title" level. Is there some option somewhere to set in LUA or how can I achieve to directly playtest the exact level I am working on in editor? Right now I can click "New Game" and I'm in the first level, but ... for instance, once I start my work on lvl 12 (ye, got some plans ), then .. any help? |

Hi! Welcome to the forum!
It seems that you may be missing your new levels in a gameflow script. TEN can't load a level if it is missing in the script. Make sure they are placed in Gameflow.lua file (you can access it through TIDE script editor). |

Script
Indeed I included all levels in the script. It works ok, title level runs, I see menu, I press "NEW GAME" and it loads the first level. I walk to the end of the level where I transfer to second level etc.
My question is, if I have 5 connected levels, how do I playtest level 5 directly. So far the game forces me to go through TITLE, then LVL1, 2, 3, 4 and finally LVL 5. But I want to load lvl 5 directly. If I set lvl 5 as TITLE, which I can ofc, then... there is just menu, no pawn to control, nothing. So, how can I load directly to lvl 5 from Tomb Editor? I managed to set the level 5 as the "first" level of main game, means - pressing NEW GAME kicks me to LVL 5, but I would like to press "play test" and load directly to lvl 5 and play from Tomb Editor, not into TITLE lvl, then lvl 5 etc. Hope it gives sense. |
