I've always like Gorillaz. Demon Days is still probably my favorite but I don't have Plastic Beach. Their first album is classic and brings back lots of memories. Funny thing is that I got that and TRC at the same time as Christmas gifts and would listen to the album while playing the game. Nostalgia is pretty strange sometimes.

New music video ! Hallelujah Money.
I find it ok but I'm not impressed. Hope it's not their real lead single. ^^ |

What an interesting song to launch with! I'm quite a fan of Gorillaz, although I haven't really kept up on them for the last year, so thanks for the links. Those short stories are pretty good!
I wonder if this will be another evolution in their style or if we'll see a return to the classic Gorillaz? |

Well, with the four new tracks I guess it is a more upbeat and pop one with heavy electronica flavour a la Plastic Beach.
I love the video clip of Saturnz Barz, but I prefered the tracks Andromeda and We Got the Power. The new Album "Humanz" will be released 28th of April ! |

IMO new tracks are really underwhelming, which is disappointing, Gorillaz were my favorite band when I was a wee lad.
The only track I truly love is Andromeda, it reminds me of their earlier sound, but I suppose they can't recycle their old sound over and over again. But bonus points for videos and instrumentals This one makes me all warm on the inside Also, long ago, Gorillaz had their own MTV cribs episode and it was the best thing ever Last edited by almayah; 01-04-17 at 13:36. |
