Default TR Map Extractor by TurboPascal

TR Map Extractor is a program that exports level geometry from TR1 to TR5 to Metasequoia's .mqo format.

Latest version 1.2 TrMapExtractor1_2.zip

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TrMapExtractor1_1.zip

I have updated it to version 1.1.

- Fixed bug that wrote incorrect material colour values that caused display issues.

- Added option to export transparent faces. By default transparent faces like water surface faces are not exported.

Note this version was built in a modern version of Delphi (the free 10.2 starter edition) and this may have introduced some bugs.

Let me know if you have problems with the program.

Hi Could you share the source? It could be very useful for Tomb Editor import/export functons to MQO

I'll have to ask TurboPascal. I'll get back to you.

Thanks!
Tried it on one of my WIP levels and it works well.

Using this makes it a lot easier to make larger objects that need to fit the roomgeometry, like in my case, several streams of water that follow a certain path.

Meta2tr will still be excluded in TR5main.dll, right?

As has been covered before. Tomb Editor will be able to export and import level geometry to .mqo format for editing in metasequoia. Making meta2tr an obsolete program if you use Tomb Editor.

TR5Main will be exclusively for Tomb Editor. As it's a new engine based on TR5 code, unlike TRNG which is just TR4 with external modifications via .dll. No previous editors would be able to compile levels for it.

Ergo. No Meta2TR for TR5Main. Why do you keep asking about it?
