Default Galactic Engine

I made my own rendering / game engine. Here is the wiki that explains a bit about it and provides changes etc.

wiki

Still documenting a lot of it.

If anyone wants to comment on it then just do so. There is an SDK download available.

sorry, can you explain what it is for and what it does?
I downloaded the sdk and installing right now.. I may ask some more questions in a while..

there's no exe file in it, how should I use it? sorry for this basic question, I never used you engine before, I really need some really "basic" answer/info.. Can it be used to render our tr4 levels? and if so, what should I have to copy (levels tr4 files, scripts, audio music..) and where do I have to put those files?

Agree with the above posts.
I think you should make a small introduction about this engine and tell what it was made for, and what we can do with it. Because I acessed that link, and I haven't found any information tbh

I agree with the rest. For the time being it looks rather offtopic and not TRLE-related.

Perhaps you need the files from the previous version?

Why did he create this thread if he already had that one?

Redundancy? Attention seeking? I'm not sure... But it did give him interest from other folks...

That is a separate project. That is specifically a project designed to view TR files. source code

The engine is a separate project I made which can be used by other projects that want efficient 2D or 3D rendering that is multi-platform.

I was busy with work recently.

The engine on its own is just a rendering engine. But ill get up an example since it might not be so guessable on how to use it.

Its an SDK for tools to use that need 3D rendering capabilities.

Sub-projects is how we be organised.

Make sure that if you recheck the wiki, I added a dependencies part for Standard Libraries (zlib etc.)

You should also remember to read the license before using this if anyone does. Nobody probably will since everyone just loves OpenGL for reasons I don't know...

Maybe some people respects the hard work I put into things.

Here is some tutorials that work with Galactic Engine 1.0.8 (Visual Studio 2012)

Tutorials.zip

Put this zip file in "Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates" to have a neat template appear in Visual Studio 2012:
