JOYTECH, one of Europe's premier manufactures of third party peripherals is pleased to announce an exclusive third party peripheral supply agreement with France's largest specialist software retailer, 'MicroMania'.

As part of the new agreement, JOYTECH will supply the leading retail chain with a selected range of core products across XboxTM, PSoneTM, PS2®, and Game Boy Advance SPTM formats. This new agreement solidifies JOYTECH's stance across Europe and provides the company with a significant retail presence in the important French territory.

Lee Guinchard, Managing Director of JOYTECH comments on the MicroMania agreement. "Today's announcement is further evidence of the growing popularity the JOYTECH brand enjoys across the globe. As the largest chain of specialist software retailers in France, millions of gamers trust MicroMania to offer products of quality and value, making JOYTECH the ideal choice for their exclusive supplier of third party accessories. This impressive stride into the French gaming territory could not have been achieved without the dedication and focus of Take-Two Interactive France, who recently took control of JOYTECH's French sales and marketing."

Christian Bellone, Managing Director of Take-Two Interactive France remarks on the significance of the MicroMania agreement. "Since taking on the sales and marketing of JOYTECH peripherals in our territory, we have worked tirelessly to build the brand, and introduce the range to the French gaming community. We believe that this new agreement with MicroMania will further cement JOYTECH's enviable reputation, and play a major part in the companies continuing growth across Europe."

Crucial in bringing the MicroMania deal to fruition, was Michel Magne, Customer Relations Manager for Take-Two Interactive France, who working alongside Christian Bellone, and Albert Loridan, Chairman and founder of MicroMania, managed to negotiate an agreement of mutual interest to both parties. Remarking upon the new agreement, Michel comments: "It is clear that there is enormous potential for the JOYTECH brand, which we are obviously eager to exploit across France. Obviously in the UK, and much of Europe, JOYTECH have gained the trust of millions of gamers, who can rely upon JOYTECH for quality peripherals at extremely competitive prices, and we are thrilled to be able to bring the same levels of innovation and value to French gamers"

Albert Loridan Chairman and founder of the MicroMania retail chain also comments on the exciting potential that the JOYTECH brand offers. "We at MicroMania are delighted to be working with Take-Two Interactive and JOYTECH, and look forward to introducing the JOYTECH range to all MicroMania locations. JOYTECH enjoy a healthy reputation for quality and innovation that appeal to gamers of all ages. In the UK and across the world JOYTECH peripherals continue to remain the first choice for millions of enthusiastic gamers, and we are confident that our customers will relate to the strong brand values offered by JOYTECH accessories."

JOYTECH's core range of peripherals goes on sale at all 135 MicroMania locations immediately.
