Naughty Dog's Tomb Raider (AKA Drake's Fortune)

OK, folks, I've just watched this trailer and.. yeah, i was really impressed by the graphics. But on the other hand I was like wtf.. tomb raider?! A next gen AoD-Legend-Anniversary mutation?

There are so many similarities like the wall run, the targeting system, the time-freezing thing, the (ok sometimes) obvious ledges, the matrix superjump..
is it just me or..

Sorry to sound rude, but tomb raider wasn't the first to those.

The wall run was seen in prince of persia. The targeting system has been seen in so many games, slow-motion as been seen in many games (Max Payne being one of the first), and the superjump was for sure started by Mario.

Sure the tomb/jungle settings look familar. However, the absence of a big chested and gun wielding female makes a huge difference.

I think its a big rip off of TOMB RAIDER. It even says in my magazine It's a male Lara Croft.

Its not a rip of TR it has nothin at all to do with tomb raider research a lil bit more into the game

It looked good, and it did seem alot like Tomb Raider IMO. Obviously lots of moves and parts of games will have been used lots of times by in differet games, but it screamed tomb raider, in fact I might probably buy that when its out.
