How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

OH! And Ozzy's real name is John Osbourne, isn't it?

A group of engineering students from Purdue University recorded that their licking machine, modeled after a human tongue, took an average of 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. They tried the same licking test on 20 volunteers and found that the average licks to the center were 252 licks.

Students at Whittier Elementary in Waukesha, WI determined that it takes an average of 9 minutes to reach the center of a Tootsie Pop.

ok here...
1. How many odd numbers are in the 100th row of Pascal’s triangle?

2. How many entries in the 100th row of Pascal’s triangle are divisible by 3? By 5?

3. When you divide a number by 2, the remainder is 0 or 1. Color the entries in Pascal’s triangle according to this remainder. You get a visual pattern. Can you explain it? Can you generate the pattern on a computer?
