yes you did a great job making Legacy of Kain, you exceeded yourselves in this one and i congratulate you on that!

i am lovingthe game, still there are some serious problems with the camera system, it messes up with many jumps!
the story is great and the controls are better than in TR Legend!

No it wasnt actually. It took most of cd's 4 years on the game making the engine.

They also spent a year finding out what makes lara tick. And they started by making a sequel to aod which got cancelled when toby gard came along (grrr!) and there team was very small at the time but it has completley skyrocketed since trl. Lots of people want to work on the next tr i suppose. Must be some kind of privellige to be working on the next tomb raider

Yes it is . It was one of the first things CrystalD said at E3 in 2005 about the game.

Only ever played a demo of Soul Reaver 2 which was really good. I unfortunately never bought the game.

Wrong. Legend was built on a modified SR2 engine.

It was in my magazine! I still have it now because i thought it was special because i love tomb raider. It says it took them years to make the new engine and i highly doubt it took them years to modifiy a current engine

Since when did a magazine become a reliable source? A very early press release of Legend (before it was titled legend) stated that Legend was being built on a heavily modfied soul reaver 2/defiance engine.

They also spent a year finding out what makes lara tick. I dont think its ever been stated that Crystal where making a direct sequel to Angel of Darkness. I know they were using the AOD Lara design, but I'm pretty sure the idea of a AOD sequel was scrapped early on way before toby came into the picture.
