I think it all has to do with the tomb in Peru, after all, that's where the stone was first discovered, maybe it was another gateway to Avalon/Atlantis.

I read a book once about the similarities between the modern day UFO mythology and the old Faerie mythology (including Avalon). And one of the myths discussed was from South America and involved black spirits (I forget their names), dark creatures that came from the land of the faeries and stole humans to take back with them.
I always think of this creature as being one of these kidnappers. Almost like a foot-soldier or a robot/machine doing the bidding of others. And if it is, maybe it will know how to get Lara over there... It'll be interesting to see what their explanation is, that is if we do get an explanation at the end. ------------ Borrowing Aussie's picture... ![]() As a side issue. Is it just me or is this creature unscary? I mean, I know it's meant to be terrifying... but it isn't, it's just so cartoony. Natla's a bit more fearsome, I don't know why, she just is. But again... not really hitting the mark for me. Anyone else or is it just me? I really hope the next gen graphics and other effects make a difference in this way. |

I think Fluffy was just sad because he wanted a proper body and outfit
!Blackmoor,I think the same. It wasn't scary, original, fearsome or even hard to fight. You just had to jump like crazy and the trick was done.

I think that he's scarier in Peru because you can't see him clearly.

But wouldn't it be a bit of a coincidence for Lara to randomly have stumbled across Qualopec AGAIN? Unless he was searching for her ... hmm ... |
