Closed in 2007. As far as I know it was ran by the Smith brothers, yep.

They probably do, but the engine was in use a little over two years ago before TRAE was canceled. Can't really be considered THAT outdated. Heck, Eric Lindstrom admitted TRU was used with a modified TRL engine. I'm sure someone could get some use out of a modified TRAE engine be it Rebellion, Crush or whoever.

Not orignal.
TRAE was created by Core Design. This is a different company. Just because their work many ex-core members it doesn't mean that they have develop the same games as Core. And perhaps the Core members who work there were from the AoD team which was fired long before TRAE was made.

You must have misunderstood something. TRU uses an engine that was completely developed from scratch especially for the game. It is not a modified Legend engine.

Found them on Companies House. So they are up and trading.

Wow. This is certainly interesting. Eidos owns the trademark to Lara and Tomb Raider, so we'll certainly not be seeing any Tomb Raider games. But I wonder if they have their own Tomb Raider-esq game in the pipeline...

Why does one address list them as being in Nottingham, and the other in Derby?

Their accountant probably incorporated the company, so their accounting address would be on record at Companies House.

Also, their cited HQ looks like it could be a virtual office.

Nope, you're just misinformed. Eric Lindstrom said in a E3 video interview that they couldn't make the game completely from scratch. It may take some searching but I'll try and find the interview.

Crush Digital's website ain't working here I'm curious as to what that Lindsay thing is - what is it?

And I'm confused: if it was confirmed that TRAE was cancelled before the recording of audio and making off cutscenes, how come people have working copies? They are still incomplete, right?
