Below is my most detailed characters to date. It took several hours to think of ideas and draw, but I think it was well worth it.
Below are a couple progress drawings of the above image. Skin Model Wetsuit Model |

I'm horrible at coloring, but I was going to give it a shot.

I was going to say thank you for making a male character with full parts - but then I saw the naked drawing and he is devoid. Still, at least in clothes he has the right bumps. So Might not be relevant to some people, I just hate the way that some artists render characters (more particularly male) as neuters. Let's be real eh?
About the colouring MountainDewNut. You know, I always used to say that, and it was true all the while I told myself that. But then I made myself draw with coloured pencils, and was totally shocked at how much of an advancement as an artist I made by a simple tool change! Try it. [ 20. I believe that posting a model with everything attached would be against the terms of this board... it is atleast against the terms on all the other boards that I posted it on.
Anyway I hate colored pencils mainly because they leave those 'holes' in the drawing, either that or I was using too cheep of pencils. My friend has some nice markers and I was thinking about picking that up, but I'll have to save up for those. [ 20. May 2004, 18:38: Message edited by: MountainDewNut ] |

...that would be why, I wasn't using soft enough pencils. I'm getting paid today, so maybe I'll stop by an art store and check them out.
