How can a 14-year-old earn money.
I'm trying to save up for a PS3. My mum's already said she'll pay me £20 a month for picking my sisters up from school but its a lot of money and I'm not sre she will. Is there anything else I can do?

Delivering newspapers ? I did it once when I was 12, yup once. I wasn't really in need of money anyways, i was just bored, but seeing as you have something you need to save up to, i'd recommend it!

Paper-run. My 15 year old cousin does one, as well as my 11 year old cousin.

I had a paper round from my 13th Birthday until just before I was 16. Never been a day since I was 13 that I haven't been employed
What country are you in? I'm not sure about non-UK regs but in the UK you need a work permit to work under the age of 16, just a simple formality, fill in a form at no cost. At least it was back then, things *may* have become more EU-ised now... |

Like everyone else has said; paper round or work permit.
And; Dog walking Babysitting Car washing is also a good idea. Or you could wait until Christmas. |

If you have the right contacts and are good with computers, you can get something that way. I used to vectorize pictures for the new edition of some scientific books my mother edited. No need to go outside, not the most boring job you can imagine, and it paid for quite a lot of stuff, including my first Mac.

eBay.
Paper Rounds Car Valeting Dog walking Chores. Cutting peoples grass. Part time jobs Car boot sale. There are lots of ways. One way I made money when I was 11 was to bring in a huge bag of Millies Cookies from my local shopping centre and sell them at school. I made so much money from that. Also i rented DVD's to people for one pound a night. Not bad for an 11 year old, eh? |
