Default Fog bulbs and Bump Mapping.

Fog Bulbs and bump mapping.

Fog Bulbs are used to create volume in a level that can resemble smog or something.

To get a fog-bulb follow the guide here:

You can edit it like a normal light bulb by pressing "show light meshes" and then using the controls to control the fading and strength of the bulb. Beware though it is rather a strong effect so have really really small fog bulbs and very weak ones are the ones that look the best in my opinion.

To change the colour of the bulb you need set "Flipeffect 28"

and then follow this guide to finding the correct colour you want. You need to change the 'timer' value to correspond with what colour you would like.

And set it somewhere where lara will cross but the player wont see it change. You also need VolumectrixFX enabled in your game setup to see it.

Bump-mapping

Bumpmapping is used to create a texture more 3d looking. Tr4 cannot do accurate bump maps so it has to be set to either level 1 or level 2; level 1 being weaker then 2.

to set Bump-mapping go to "texture sounds" in ngle or winroomedit and then selecting your bump level and then assigning it to a texture. It also needs to have "Bump Mapping" ticked on in the in-game setup
