Default Thunderstorms

Having our third storm this month over here. Usually we rarely even get one in a whole year. o_o

It's good though. Mostly rolling thunder over Glasgow just now, rain hasn't hit here yet.

Dante's really enjoying it, he's sitting at the back door just out of the rain, watching the sky like a little kid.

Had one last night, two of my dogs broke through my bedroom door at 1am and leapt onto my bed trying to bury themselves under my head. Need new sheets now, they're covered in hair.

After approximately one year without raining in my city, it is the first weekend that rains and the wind has force.
They had prepared boats and were making new canalizations to bring water from other places.
In this zone, some marshes (dam; reservoir) were below 10% of capacity
It seems that the world never is balanced.

LOL

Those poor sheets.

Well, seeing as how we're still averaging 12-17C around here, we haven't had much in the way of thunderstorms. It's a shame as I really do find them very relaxing.

We've had severe storm after severe storm so far this year And expecting another one Tomorrow.

In addition to tornadoes, the strongest thunderstorms will also drop torrential rain. Some new flooding could be initiated, while existent flooding will be enhanced. The Severe Weather Center has an up-to-date list of any thunderstorm or flood-related watches and warnings.

The South Regional News story reports the severe weather will track into the balance of the Southeast on Sunday, potentially ruining some Mother's Day festivities. The greatest threat for the most damaging thunderstorms and tornadoes will be centered on Georgia and South Carolina.

Speaking of dogs, my dog barks at absolutely everything more exciting than a pillow (she does other things to pillows, especially during that time), so when it's thunderstorm you can't tell where the dog ends and weather starts. Same goes for fireworks, she'd scare an invading army off methinks (or leave them reeling with laughter at her raspy high-pitched tone). She also howls heartbreakingly at mobile phones, Welsh terriers are just bonkers.

The previous dog was in turn dead scared of noise. She jumped into the bath once, and we're talking sausage dog here.

Lol Chris

We've had about three so far this year. We seem to be getting more and more in recent years.

I don't mind though. I love a good storm
