Tips for moving ledges

Hi:

I am currently in Egypt (Temple of KHAMOON) where there are alot of retractable ledges. I need some tips here because when I get Lara to jump to one of these, I cannot get her to pull up in time (or else she does her signature handstand

).

I can suggest two things to try:

1) To avoid doing the "handstand", do not hold down the jump button, just give it a quick press and Lara will jump on to the ledge (or any other platform in the game that she can climb onto, for that matter); and

2) Make sure you don't hit the jump button until you have latched onto the ledge. If you hit the jump button too soon, Lara will pause in the hanging position, thereby requiring you to hit the jump button again (which results in wasted time).
