installing wii patch

I followed the instructions, unzipped it to an sd card, put in wii and restarted. Nothing is listed under the card in wii options but the file is on the card. Help please!

Was that the first time you used that SD card? You may need to format it first, to give it the correct filesystem for the Wii to recognize.
