Very old news, the 3 guys have already admitted lying. They had a documentary called 'the road to Guantanamo bay', where they said they went to Afghanistan just for an innocent visit, but since then, one of the three admitted being inducted into a training camp, where he was taught how to use automatic weapons and explosives.
Rhuhel Ahmed, Asif Iqbal, Binyam and Shafiq Rasu were the names of british detainees, it was Shafiq Rasu who admitted he went to a terror camp. All three, by there account, were 'captured' by the Taliban, and only tried to kill ISAF forces in 'self defense', because, by there reckoning, the Taliban allow prisoners to carry weapons. I swear there was an aussie guy in there aswell, i think Clark? Last edited by Goose; 08-02-09 at 15:28. |

huh... interesting. don't seem to recall this when it originally happened. so let me get this straight:
some British guy was arrested and wound up in Guantanamo Bay where apparently he was tortured, and Bush apparently threatened to sever ties of intel so that the "evidence" not be made public? (long article with a bunch of jibber jabber as far as I could tell.. not too clear to me what's goin' on) |

well from what I read, the threat was originally FROM the Bush administration and apparently they are claiming that it was supposed to be continued by the O'Bama administration. Although from other reading into it, it is unclear whether O'Bama has actually continued that threat or whether it is still under deliberation?
I know that Bush has no power anymore |

And what's to stop any involved parties from posting the evidence as a note on Facebook?
