Can Youtube Remove My Video If I Have Edited It
i have made a sort of remix of a song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8fdWbh5MAA will like it be able to be removed for copyright stuff , coz im not sure , you know because i have edited the file ?? could they remove it for copyright? |

That doesn't mean you shouldn't upload it though. Give it a try and see what happens.

This may be a good test: is the original song on YouTube (not uploaded by the original copyright holder)? Then your remix probably won't be deleted.

I can't see that getting removed, especially when looking in the Related Videos, you can see someone has uploaded the soundtrack for the game which hasn't been edited. Also I myself have uploaded a soundtrack to a game and it hasn't been deleted yet.

things r only deleted if the rights' holders complain about it; whoever manages youtube certainly doesn't have the capacity to check if everything that's uploaded has been authorized by the original authors.

i guess so , but i hope noone complains , although i cant see why they would because i have edited it so therefore it is sorta my own stuff since i have edited in my own way <<< if that makes sense =S

you're in the clear, cos companies only complain if the posting of their stuff by a 3rd party harms them in any way; I don't think your remix falls into that category
