I don't need help, it's just after I learn French, I am going straight onto Portugese and I will want to come here for help and hopefully there is a nice thread with a lot of useful everyday phrases. And also for anyone else who needs help.

![]() Day = dia (can also express "morning" dependind of the context) so... bom dia! xD - Portuguese isn't that difficult... there is various things different from other languages, of course, but since you learn correctly them, It become easier ![]() - let's use this example (easier) in Portuguese, the word for "easy" is "fácil" (with strong A), in english we add "er" and change the "i", in port. you just add "mais" (intensity pronoun) in front ![]() so, it changes to "mais fácil" this is valid for any word that you want to demonstrate intensity

Meu caro amigo, o português é das linguas mais complexas e dificeis do mundo... Em termos de gramática, só o francês se compara...

nao exactamente... o francês é mais fácil... em muitos casos o francês no plural é comum tanto no feminino como no masculino, e os verbos sao mais simples pois usam verbos auxiliares excepto no presente do indicativo, ao contrário do portugues que usa uma palavra para cada conjugação excepto no presente/passado/condicional perfeito (ex: ter feito)
