Toby Gard updated his LinkedIn profile earlier today, and revealed that he is now working for himself (built his own studio I guess) as a game consultant as of now.

Or is he offering his services to Eidos or other game developpers for their games as a consultant????

Keep in mind that Toby Gard has been working on TR9 for the past 9 months as a Lead Designer... I guess the plan was that he outlined everything the team should bear in mind, and NEEDS to do in order to have an "excellent" TR experience. Now, that he probably gave a direction to the team, all they need to do is just continue....

That's what I think... Of course, I could be awfully wrong.

EDIT: The views for this thread jumped from 7 to 44 in a second or two. That's huge.

I just hope he didn't leave for the same reasons he left Core, artistic differences. I genuinely liked the proposed Lara for TRO, so I hope CrystalD hasn't decided to change her back or into something entirely different.

That said, this isn't the end of the world. Who says that someone else won't walk into the [now supposedly vacant] position tomorrow and be miles better?
