That's the LE Matteusz06. It's primitive.
![]() With the original LE you can only use 64x64 textures, but with NGLE you can use textures up to 256x256. But because the engine does not support mipmapping, 256x256 does not always look better. 128x128 is often best. But they should have good quality to begin with. So, like Ilie_Fusarau said, are you using TRLE or NGLE?

I use NGLE, alas each time when I use textures even 64x64, the problem is still. Sorry for my English. I use a translator.

Hello everyone!
I want to create new custom in LE:NG and I need chinese textures. My friend have The Sims 3: World Adventures, and I think, whether it is possible export textures from this game in e.g .jpeg file? Any suggestions? Please help. |

I know nothing about the game, but a Google search comes up quickly with the desired results.
![]() How to extract textures from Sims 3 games. (See also this forum's main page, specifically the sections on resources in this FAQ.) Apparently the texture format is DDF, which includes mipmaps. I'd recommend you convert them to BMP or PNG rather than JPG. If you want high-quality textures, then converting to an inferior format like JPG seems rather counterproductive.

JPEG isn't inferior; it's ideal if you want a full color image with a small file size. you just need the right software to be able to save the JPEG as high-quality to avoid the graininess.
this public service announcement brought to you by a web designer whose web pages would take up tons of space if they were composed entirely of BMPs or PNGs. lol Last edited by Kapu; 27-12-11 at 19:03. |
