Thumbs down

who always comes into work, and only when Im working. He comes by himself, and at first he was nice, asking me what I did at Uni and all that type. Which isnt weird, because Im a people person and chat to all the customers. But over the past few months it has been getting creepy... he keeps dropping hints about taking me out to dinner or staying with him in Sydney... and he keeps asking Sarah (my housemate who works with me) where exactly we live and he is always reading this book called "How to get a girlfriend" and asking me what I think....

Anyway the other day he bought me a present? How weird is that? I dont even know him. I said that I couldnt accept it, that would be wrong of me and unproffesional and made him take it back. But I'm really creeped out.

Im sorry, that is going too far. Despite the fact that he is like 50 years older then me and could be my father, and that he is a customer and that he knows about my boyfriend? Ew what a total freak.

The world is so sad sometimes.

OMG, that is nothing compared to the **** i get, i get blokes aged 18 - 45 saying really rude things to me.

I.E last satuday i was woriking, this man aged 30 i would say, thought he was a rapper, and was rapping very sexual and stomach churning things to me (like how and what he wanted to do to me sexually, ya get the picture), i felt sick. And not only that, he was ACTUALLY saying, i am coming round to your house later to see you, messing about, BUT HOW DO I KNOW HE WAS MESSING ABOUT.

Best thing to do love, is keep your house keys in your hand upon leaving work, so if ya get any nasty suprises as i have,( some physco bird was waiting for me after work to walk me home) you can poke there eyes out!

AE I hope this helps your situation. You need to be upfront and tell him you don't like him. If he keeps botherings you, then tell your boyfriend and maybe he can get rid of him verbally or physically... Or you could report him to your manager/boss. If those don't work then the best way to deal with that is job changes or police. I hope you take care.

You should inform him that he won't learn anything by reading a book. In simple terms - what's needed is charm. Secondly, common interests. If he has neither, chances are low. A charm course would be a better option than a book.

It's only people, the world has a lot of beauty too. There is more to life than meets the eye at a first glimpse. With such an approach, I've discovered it's easier to get through a tough situation

Before you take this advice (although you probably have already) tell me what you have done so far.
It sounds to me like your protests are too unclear, and you must make it clear to him that all physical or sexual innuendo must cease.
Any verbal contact must not be of a sexual nature.
At the risk of sounding like I'm coming to his defence, think back to those geeky Junior High days, when nobody would be your friend because of the way you looked and acted.
Maybe this guy really does want just a friend.
I would suspect this most in the elderly who are either homeless, poor, or in a home.
In any case, I would not take chances and call up one of those history checkup services.
Don't fall for Internet scumware like Net Detective.
The Yellow Pages should list a good service for you.

Don't send a possibly innocent man to prison.
