See, you'd have to have successfully logged in to delete the erroneus cookies, which would mean that they weren't

Geck it is possibly if you log out then got into FAQ and about half way down there is a link to delete the cookies and it tells you how many are deleted. Try it!

I've heard fables of it Geck. I think it severs access to the forum. Why would anyone want to do that??

Who knows?

I think it wipes the cookies if something goes corrupt instead of you going into the cookies folder and doing it yourself. You'd just have to log back in and hope you didn't forget your password
