I was trying to avoid this, but too many of you keep asking. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is not a main title in the Tomb Raider series. It is in fact a one-off title, for those of you that don't already know. Crystal Dynamics has said this themselves. Here's proof from the official (according to Justin) Lara Croft Facebook page.

I guess it's Lara's official face book so, kinda. It's probably controled by Keir or some other Community Manager.

The profile is linked on tombraiderchronicles.com and laracroftandtheguardianoflight.com so I'd imagine, yes.

I'm glad that it's a side game. Not because I don't like the title (I'd always prefer Tomb Raider), and not only because we will be getting 2 games instead of 1, but since they're releasing this one at the moment, that means that TR0 will take more time to develop.

LC & TGOL will provide a better budget for them

So they're working on 2 games ATM, one, is the GOL and it's not in the main series, and the other game is a main TR game?

I think Keir already said it was him. Note the words 'I think'. Could be wrong.

Thanks for this AmericanAssasin, Soo many people seem confused. Wasn't it already stated more than once, but recently in that interview that Crystal are working on TR9 and an unannounced project? This [GoL] is that project.
