Hmm that's odd. Are you playing the 360? I've played through the modern section on PS3 quite a few times now and haven't come across any bugs, in fact I thought the camera was pretty good.

Yeah, I played the 360 version. The classic mode was as solid as a rock, I played that a good ten times. The modern mode though saw the camera going screwy all the time. It seemed to happen mostly when Sonic ran beneath low hanging obstacles (rocks and other things that would require you to slide underneath). The camera would suddenly spin round and effectively face the opposite direction, looking out at the ocean and showing other bits & bobs of broken up graphics. The second time I played the modern mode, I was about three quarters of the way through, I slid beneath an overhanging rock and the camera flipped round and then just stayed there.

I was probably given a bugged demo because I only have a free XBL account and not a Gold one

I'll give it another go in a while and see if I get a problem-free run. I bet I don't though :/

^ Good luck

Aside from the bugs, what did you think to the modern gameplay?

Don't like it, I've never liked that Dreamcast/Sonic Adventure style gameplay. It's the sole reason why I won't be buying Generations.

See that's the thing, I think the Dreamcast/ Sonic Adventure gameplay felt totally different. Colours/ Generations is totally different, smooth and a lot of fun to play. I guess it's not for everyone though.
