Thoughts? As per usual, Kerry did a great job at addressing ALL the questions to put him, and as usual, Bush did a smashing job at answering only two of them directly, before automatically returning back to the topics he's been version on...

Bush did fine but he's not a great debater. When he said that the people who lost their jobs to overseas workers should look into getting an education was in very poor judgement. Some of these people have families. They don't have the time or money to go college (or go back to college).
Kerry had a noticeable blunder too, it was when he mentioned Dick Cheney's daughter. I understand why he did it though, but people will attack him for it. That's all I really remember from the debate. In the end it got so boring and repetitive that I just wanted to leave the arena. All I could think of after the debate was to run to the CNN tent so I could catch a glimpse of Larry King in person. |

No but it was held at my university so they had debate viewing parties on campus for the students who weren't lucky enough to attend the actual debate.
It was a lot of fun, the students are crazy here. They dressed up in costumes and some guys ran around holding GameCubes lol, GameCube '04 !! Plus people weren't hostile to others for their different opinions, it was all in good humor.

Cheney's daughter is a lesbian, and he addressed her for an example.
I just think that Kerry, (like most democrats) is going to worry more about helping the upperclass citizens, other then normal people. And the stem cell thing bugs me because that will support abortions. Personally, I think McCain shouldv'e got top Repulican last year, then everything wouldv'e been fine. |

Regardless of how this election turns out, I predict in Decision 2008 it will be Hillary Clinton and John McCain...maybe.

Margaret Thatcher was the first female British Prime Minister, and I think she did a sterling job. She really was the Iron Lady, and was brutal when it came to dealing with the unions. Unfortunately, that was what sealed her fate. |
