Hey guys, I am planning to buy Tomb Raiders 1 - 5 for Computer. However, my Operating System is a Windows Vista 64-bit. Will these games run on my computer? Thanks ^-^

I know the original was an MS-DOS release, so I'm not sure how that will run on a newer system. I think the later ones all run in the Windows environment. However that doesn't mean much. Microsoft isn't big on backwards compatibility.
![]() I'm sure there are workarounds, though. And if there are, the fine folks on this forum will be able to help!

TR1 wont unless you wanna go through LOADS of complicated setting up of it. TR2-5 will work almost perfectly fine.

Hmm... Unless i can get a guarantee that Tr 1-5 will work on a 64-bit system, i will not waste the money xD.. The main reason i want them i because of the bonus levels! If i have to tho, i will get them for Playstation, but that is the last resort option :x
EDIT: I do not mind tweaking at all, as long as i can get them to run :P |

Welcome to the forum, Sara.
To the best of my knowledge, TR2-5 should work fine on Vista 64-bit. TR1 can be a bit problematic, but it should work as well. Take a look at this thread in our Tech Support section for details: TR1 and UB Advanced Solution x32/64 Installer Feedback and Troubleshooting. |

And with Tr4, there is a HUGE level builder community, just download a patched EXE and replace it with the original and all of a sudden you will have instant compatibility. :3 |

[QUOTE=TheBloodRed;4552199]There is no need to run everything like 98/me... <.<

Althought quality will be lower :X! and i won't have access to the 7 bonus levels. I am sure i'll live ^-^ |
