I'm sorry Mr. Burns for going off topic.. But someone else here should be apologizing for the amount of insulting and flaming material on his posts. Sometimes it really goes overboard, and this was the case. Or are posts like this perfectly acceptable on GC nowadays?

Okay, I read the entire post, and there are some things which are definitely different here

1. Parents NEVER pay you to do chores. That's why it's hard to earn money when you're a kid. You can't babysit because if you offer to do it mothers would look at you like this

and say "You? With my baby? Over my dead body!"
2. Romanian parents like to keep their children in their homes as much as possible

3. Here, if someone in the family has financial problems, all the family will help.

See, I knew there was an apparent difference in every one of the things I mentioned between most of Europe and USA.
