...Comes a new tv show called Undercovers, due to air this fall on NBC.
Trailer: http://www.nbc.com/undercovers/video...ailer/1228329/ ![]() Not much has been said about the plot. Only that it's about a couple, who get called back into the world of espionage 5 years after their retirement. What do you guys think? Do you think it will be successful? Will it be half as good as Alias was?

i do like that they are being unconventional and using 2 black main cast members.
i love Alias and SB and JG, but im guessing that it wont be as successful, but i dont really know much about this show yet; but i will be sure to watch it on TV, cuz i likes me some secret agent television and movies.

Most importantly, I know that "sucking up" guy from somewhere, but I have no idea where. Can any of you help me out?
So, Mr. and Mrs. Smith (or if you want, True Lies), the TV show. I’m not quite sure what to think of that. From the trailer, it seems a bit more serious than I’d expect, but I’d have to watch at least the pilot to truly form an opinion. So far, though, there is nothing actually compelling me to do so.

His name is Ben Schwartz, the only thing he's in that's remotely recognisable is Parks and Recreation, everything else he's in are minor roles on even minor-er tv shows ![]() http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2355635/ And as for the tv show, I'd have to see the pilot too. Alias had such an amazing pilot that drew you in instantly, so that's kind of what I'm hoping for. And it kinda sucks. Because it's a similar concept, and the same writer/director of Alias, it's forever going to be compared to Alias. Let's just hope that some one from the Alias cast (perhaps Jennifer Garner???) will make a cameo

I never watched Alias. I do like Fringe and love Lost (though I got into Lost way too late, I’ve only finished the third season on DVD now), and I do have two free video downloads from the iTunes store, maybe I ought to look at an episode or two…

It won't last. It's a tv version of Mr & Mrs Smith. The "spy" shows never last on tv.
Didn't he also "create" Cloverfield? Alias was good but then it became so drawn out you stopped caring about the bloody "secrets" |

I don't know why J.J Abrams couldn't just keep Alias running for another four seasons. Everyone knows it was the best show to ever air on ABC, let alone the entire television network
. I think I'll give this show a miss - it'll probably be far too much like Alias for my own tastes, but then again, so will USA Network's Covert Affairs, premièring in July.Meh, we'll see. |
