No it isn't Tomb Raider, but it is connected with Tomb Raider, and thus people are interested in seeing what the future of the franchise will be, Lara being in both Lara Croft games and TR games and all. Tomb Raider or not...you can't deny it has sparked interest in gamers on what's to come involving Lara. And no doubt, when TR9 rolls around the critics will swing back to GoL in one way or another.
