Tomb Raider 9 will be a major disappointment

I have always praised Crystal Dynamics for their amazing Tomb Raider games Legend, Anniversary, Underworld & Guardian of Light but Tomb Raider 9 seems to be a step in the wrong direction with this ridiclous Island story the series does not need a reboot at all its perfect just the way it is, TR9 should have a story similar to Underworld (but not Lara's about parents).

I am going to play Tomb Raider 9 when its released but I will decide whether the game impresses me when the trailer is released in 2011. The biggest mistake that Crystal Dynamics have made is getting a new voice actress Keeley Hawes could pull it off without any problems she can do younger Lara. The story for this game is totally stupid we have seen enough of Lara's past in TR4 & TR5 and we already know what made her a Tomb Raider as the plane crash in Legend showed us it gave her a mission to find out what happened to her parents so we know what made Lara who she is not this game, considering the fact that the game is set before Tomb Raider 1 is going to make it boring just like Tomb Raider 1. Legend, Anniversary & Underworld breathed new life into the series when Crystal Dynamics took over. Lara had better have her dual Pistols in Tomb Raider 9 (Tomb Raider Reborn)

So far based on the information and scans that we have seen I give Tomb Raider 9 a rating of 1/10 very poor my score may change after the trailer is released.

What are your thoughts?

This is THE limit. I'm fed up with all this negativity and all the nagging without knowing anything (almost nothing okay), please erase yourself from these forums, bye bye!

Ok well I don't mean that last part but...

Come ON, what is this? Has the whole world become pure negativity. I can't stand this anymore to be honest.

Sorry, I opened the thread and saw "boring just like Tomb Raider 1" first, and didn't bother to read your post!

Seriously, speak for yourself! Loads seem to be really happy with the new direction of the game!

And isn't there enough topics already on what your opinions are of the new game?
